Every one of the 78 possible sign pairings has its own written profile, so an Aries and Leo reading sounds nothing like a Virgo and Pisces one.
The scores follow the classic logic of Western astrology rather than random numbers. Signs that share an element (fire, earth, air or water) form a trine, traditionally the smoothest connection. Signs two apart form a sextile, an easy and friendly link between compatible elements. Signs three apart form a square, the aspect of friction and growth, while signs directly across the wheel form an opposition, famous for magnetic attraction and tug-of-war. We then adjust for modality: two fixed signs dig in their heels, two mutable signs bend more easily. Finally the sub-scores lean the way astrologers usually describe each mix, so air signs get a friendship boost and earth signs a teamwork boost.

How is zodiac compatibility calculated here?
Each pairing starts from the angle between the two signs on the zodiac wheel (same sign, sextile, square, trine, quincunx or opposition), then is adjusted for element and modality. The love, friendship and work scores shift that base the way astrologers usually describe each combination. The written profile for every pair is original.
Which zodiac signs are most compatible?
Signs of the same element tend to score highest: fire with fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), earth with earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), air with air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and water with water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). Fire and air, and earth and water, also pair well.
Does a low score mean we should break up?
No. Astrology is a lens for conversation, not a rulebook. Challenging pairings often describe couples who learn the most from each other. Communication, shared values and kindness matter far more than any score.
